About Patrick Tapp, CNP
Patrick Tapp is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), United States Air Force veteran, and former police officer with a diverse background in healthcare, public service, and crisis response. His experience has provided him with a unique perspective on caring for individuals facing mental health and medical challenges.
Patrick's clinical experience spans the continuum of mental health care, including pre-hospital crisis intervention, inpatient psychiatric stabilization, and outpatient treatment. He has cared for patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises as well as those seeking long-term management of depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and other behavioral health conditions.
In addition to his expertise in mental health, Patrick has experience treating both acute and chronic pain, recognizing the important connection between physical and emotional well-being. He takes a comprehensive, evidence-based approach that addresses the whole person.
Patrick is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered. His goal is to help patients achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their health and quality of life.
Outside of work, Patrick enjoys travel and visiting breweries with his wife, trivia with friends, and is a fierce “girl dad”

We are a member of the VA Community Care Network and take TRICARE for active and retired military personnel and their families. We also accept insurance through auto insurance.
