About Rosemary James
My name is Rosemary James, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over ten years of experience in healthcare, working across different specialties and with patients of all age groups. After witnessing the profound mental health impact of COVID-19, I decided to return to graduate school to pursue Psychiatric Mental Health. I graduated from Briar Cliff University in Iowa.
Before transitioning to Valley Medical, I worked in the inpatient mental health unit at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, caring for both adults and adolescents. I am passionate about supporting individuals who are struggling with mental health disorders and helping them achieve improved well-being and quality of life.
Outside of work, I am a full-time mother to three beautiful girls. We enjoy baking, cleaning, and traveling the world together.

We accept most major insurance company health plans, as well as most Medicaid and Medicare Plans. We are a member of the VA Community Care Network and take TRICARE for active and retired military personnel and their families. We also accept insurance through auto insurance.
