National Addiction Treatment Week (October 19 - 25th) hopes to increase awareness of the gap in certified addiction medicine care and treatment and aims to shed light on the critical need for clinicians to enter the field of addiction medicine.
Here at any of the four Valley Medical and Wellness locations in Burnsville, Minnepolis, Woodbury, or Rochester, Minnesota, our knowlegable and experienced addiction specialists hope to raise awareness about the different addiction treatment services we offer in the effort to help bridge the gap and offer safe and timely medication assisted treatment (MAT) for those suffering from Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
Valley Medical and Wellness can offer MAT and treatment services for the following conditions:
The addiction specialists here at Valley Medical and Wellness' Burnsville, Minnepolis, Woodbury, and Rochester locations want those suffering from addiction to know that they are not alone. Minnesota Department of Health reported in that "only about 7.4% of those with substance use disorders received treatment during the past year". This means that only about 1 out of every 10 people in Minnesota struggling with addiction received treatment in a given year.
Valley Medical and Wellness hopes to remain accessable for anyone seeking addiction treatment at any one of our four locations in the Twin Cities Metro area and Rochester, Minnesota. With New Patient Consultations available within a couple of days and a large list of accepted insurance programs, Valley Medical and Wellness is here to help ASAP.
